Box Tops Competition

During the month of September, we will have our box tops competition! Please watch for box tops on the packages of all sorts of products you purchase from the store, clip them, and send them in with the students throughout the month. The class that brings in the most will be rewarded with a fun party!

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school September 7, 8, and 9. Students will have the opportunity to go to the book fair with their classes twice during the school day. Parents will have the opportunity to visit the book fair with their children on the evening of September 9, as it will be open along with our other PTO events that evening.

The Mile Seekers

Our Running Club will be starting again soon! Students will soon bring home registration forms. Registration forms and the entry fee of $20 is due by Friday, September 10; please turn in to Ms. Angie Grogan.

$1 Out of Uniform Day

The first Friday of each month, our school offers a $1 out of uniform day for our students. Students can pay $1 to be out of their uniforms! Please make sure that outfits are still school-appropriate (shorts should be below the fingertips, no spaghetti-strap shirts or tank tops)

Shane's Spirit Night

On the second Tuesday of each month, the Shane's Rib Shack on Highway 81 sponsors a Spirit Night for our school! Please make sure to turn in your receipts to the container that is labeled with our school name. If your family loves barbeque, this is an easy...and yummy...fundraiser for our school! Our next Spirit Night will be Tuesday, September 14.

On the third Monday of every month, Truett's Grill on Jonesboro Rd. sponsors a Spirit Night for our school! Please make sure to turn in your receipt with your child's teachers' name on it to the container that is marked with our school's name. The class that turns in the most receipts will be rewarded with coupons for free goodies at Truett's! Our next Spirit Night of the year will be Monday, September 20.

Our first PTO evening will be on Thursday, September 9.

Our meal will be ordered from Gezzo's Surf & Grille. Order forms were sent home through email on September 2; please make sure to send these back to school by Tuesday, September 7.

Spirit Wear Days

Once a month, we have a Spirit Wear Day, in which students and staff can show their school spirit by wearing TSS t-shirts or sweatshirts, along with regular uniform bottoms (khaki pants, shorts, etc...no athletic pants/shorts).

Our first Spirit Wear Day is Monday, August 30.
